We cover some remote regions of Rajasthan, staying in some elegant heritage properties, savouring the rich culture of the land and enjoying the stunningly rich landscape.
Day 01 - Flight
Fly to Delhi
Days 2 & 3 - Delhi-Tijara
Arrive into Delhi, transfer to the recently restored Tijara Fort Palace on a hilltop, surrounded by wilderness; at leisure.
Day 4 - Mandawa
Drive to Mandawa for a night at the Mandawa Castle; visit the painted havelis with colourful murals.
Days 5 & 6 - Bikaner
Drive to Bikaner, stay at Narendra Bhawan; see the Junagarh Fort and Camel Breeding Camp; walk in the old town and its bazaars or take a tonga-ride.
Days 7 & 8 - Chandelao Garh
Drive to Chandelao Garh for stay in a village; explore the village with your hosts; optional visit to Jodhpur to see the Meherangarh Fort.
Days 9 & 10 - Rawla Narlai
A short drive to another local village, studded with temples on hillocks; stay at Rawla Narlai; spend time exploring the village, enjoy a step well dinner or take a jeep safari to spot leopards in the wild.
Days 11 & 12 - Shahpura
Drive to Shahpura, stay at Shahpura Bagh, surrounded by lakes and greenery; enjoy nature walks with your hosts, visit the village improvement projects run by the family.
Days 13 & 14 - Ramathra / Ranthambore
Visit the step well of Bundi and drive on to stay a couple of nights at Ramathra Fort (you have the option of staying in the Ranthambore National Park, where you have a chance to spot tigers).
Day 15 - Delhi
Enjoy a train ride back to Delhi for a short stay at an airport hotel.
Day 16 - Return Flight
Fly back home
