Day 01 - Flight

Fly to Delhi
Days 2, 3 & 4 - Delhi

Arrive into Delhi, transfer to a well-run guest house like Haveli Hauz Khas for three nights (or stay at Maidens Hotel/The Imperial). Visit the World Heritage sites of Delhi; enjoy a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk; see the Modern Art Museum; walk through Lodhi Gardens; visit Hauz Khas Village or Delhi Haat to pick up an artefact; try out one of our recommended restaurants, maybe join one of our regularly arranged Delhi Walks.
Day 5 - Agra

Drive in the morning to Agra (or take a train); stay at a well run Home Stay, within walking distance of the Taj (or stay at the modern Trident/Mughal Hotel). Visit the Taj, Agra Fort and the tomb of Itamud-ud-daula.
Days 6, 7 & 8 - Jaipur

Proceed to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri; stay at a royal residence or haveli (or stay at the luxurious Ram Bagh Palace). Visit the city sights, climbing Amber Fort on elephant back. You can enjoy a kite flying session on the terrace of a local home, before joining the family for a meal. We can arrange for you an early morning climb to the Jaigarh Fort or a later walk around Amber with "high" tea in the Aravallis. An excursion to a nearby village, known for its batik prints, can be arranged. If you have the time we would recommend an elephant safari in the wilderness, ending with dinner in the open around a campfire.
Days 9 - Return Flight

Take a morning flight to Delhi to connect with your early afternoon flight home, arriving London the same evening.
